2:17 minutes long. PLEASE watch until the very end. Although I'm not sure everyone will understand the last joke.
And short, too.
My favorite part is when Gimli and others are getting the attention of Sauron's eye, and Gimil acts like the French guard out of "The Holy Grail."
Champagne scrambled eggs are good. You can taste the champagne. I wonder what would be a good sauce on the side for it. A light strawberry sauce? Maybe just a thin, peppery white sauce.

I just made "Heavenly Eggs" which is scrambled eggs with gravy. I used club soda in the eggs to keep it lighter, and there's only a bit of gravy. I wonder what eggs would taste like with a bit of champagne?
I'd bet that would be a nice, spur-of-the-moment, date meal. "Oh, let's just stop by my place and I'll make you champagne eggs!" It has a nice ring to it.

And now, my unconventional conventionists!
My LJ friend
fenmere asks for you to answer a few questions:
"Your Con Experience
I'm writing an article on Comic Conventions and wish to interview a wide number of people to quote in the article.
I'm particularly interested in my friends who live in Bellingham, but anybody's responses will be useful! Particularly if you are a creator and often man a booth.
For reference, the con I am writing about is a rather small con, running for the first time in this city.
Here are the questions that I'd like your insight on:
How many cons have you been to and what kind?
Why do you still attend cons? or Why do you no longer attend cons?
If you have had a booth, what has helped you the most in making a booth work for you?
Have you ever volunteered or worked for a con? Was that a good experience and would you recommend it to others?
What do you see as the primary purpose of a comic convention?
What are the side benefits of a comic convention? For the creators? For the readers? For the industry? For the community?
You can answer these any way you like, or as many or as little as you like. The more material I have to draw from the better. Also, I'll need your name and a short reference to your background (i.e. regular con-goer, comic creator, veteran con-organizer, etc.).
And I won't be able to use any responses that come to me after noon Tuesday. The sooner, the better.
Thanks!"
Feel free to post your answers here and he'll pick up the mail later.

I don't know enough ASL yet to watch most of these. There's an interesting looking guy that I wish I could understand, I'll have to bookmark him.

Anna used a washcloth to clean off the TV screen today. I turned it off, and dried it. It wasn't that wet. A couple of hours later, it turned itself on and when I tried to turn it off, it reset to the 'you bought this cool tv, and here's a lot of nice features it has!' program. Scary. I turned it off. It turned itself BACK on and started to run down the channels, starting at 99. I unplugged it. An hour and a bit later, I plugged it in and it was fine.
SO. WEIRD.
Tuesday I went to visit my bro and his family, and also went to the National Museum of Play. It was fun, but loud.
Long day. Some quilting. Active kids. Tired. Zzz.

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you....
I'm sure someone out there needs to read this today.

I cannot believe how tired I am. I feel good, though. I have done a ton of good things today. And things seem to be shaping up in a fairly ship-shape kind of shape.

Even my toenails are tired. The kids are pretty peppy, still.
